This collaborative is purposed to transform the Black experience through exploration, theological learning, and innovative thought to address current realities of the Black Church. Assisted by research and lived experience, the leaders of the Black Theological Schools and the Black Church will engage from common understanding of what is needed and how to best address these identified needs. Subject matter experts will be invited to engage with the collaborative leaders to inform, to conceptualize, to learn, and to design delivery of content. The dissemination of all learning content will be delivered via online platforms and mediums in sessions specific to curriculum, including focus groups, webinars, online seminars, podcasts, and other emergent teaching formats germane to innovative learning. The collaborative envisions a historic archive to be housed in the libraries of each school which will document the work for future generations.
